Krystal UV quartz-bottomed microplates provide low background and photometric performance down to 220 nm. Precision engineered and assembled using biocompatible adhesive in 96- and 384-well formats, the plates are useful for high throughput determinations of nucleic acid and/or proteins concentrations at 260/280 nm. Manufactured from black ultra-pure grade polystyrene, the plates exhibit very low auto fluorescence; are resistant to solvents including alcohols, DMSO and PBS; and conform to SBS/ANSI standards. A high degree of planar flatness makes them appropriate for use with automated plate reading and liquid handling systems.
